“The War on Terror is too ugly George. It conjures up pictures of young babies with bullets in their faces. We need to re-adjust public perceptions,” says the public relations branding consultant.
“I don’t know if I follow,” George says. “The War on Terror is a fine phrase. I’m a war president and the country is at war.”
“War is very 20th century George.”
“What do you suggest we do?”
“You’re going to start calling the War on Terror the Global Struggle Against the Enemies of Freedom,” he says while adjusting his briefcase on the polished table only a few more inches to the right.
