When I am old and have children, I’ll tell them to be good or else “Dog, will find out and get you.” If they know what’s good for them, they will straighten up and fly right. I’m hoping they won’t realize that bounty hunting is illegal in this country and that my threats are baseless.
I enjoy the way you and your family cleverly carve up the perp’s chance for freedom like a butcher with a laser meat saw.
I can’t wait until your wedding ceremony is broadcast in my region Aug. 8th. The teaser promised a very suspenseful episode. Cold feet at the altar! The drama! It had better end happily.
Even though it probably won’t happen, I hope that after your wedding reception, you’ll rush off and catch a perp in your wedding clothes. I say it wouldn’t happen because you probably wear your regular protective black vests for safety reasons. You know better than I do what danger a meth-fuelled person can pose to your personal security.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I lost my only son while in the U.S Army in 1999 at the also tender age of 22 years. I felt so much like I had lost my entire world with his death and not being able to even see him ( the Army made us have a closed casket) I know the heart break you are going through and I’d like to say that each day it gets easier but it doesn’t we just go on not for ourselves but for those who are left behind. Since my boys passing I have sent to him both my mother ( in 2001 and my husband’s mother in 2003) It’s been a hard time but I have to believe that God is adding these angles to his army in heaven and when it comes our time he will send them to take us over to his house.Please know that your family is in my prayers and the good Lord with send you all the strength you need to get through this.

Although im not a fan of TV,and rarely watch it,It saddens me the trouble a super american family has to burden. Bounty hunting has been around since the beginning of this great nation,and as far as I know it is leagle.Other bounty hunters have crossed the border to capture law breakers and in a sence helped thier goverment in removing a liability to there people in the process. I heard the way the justic department handled this matter of an American citizen,scary isnt it.The FBI places rewards on individuels heads,where is the line between breaking the law in apprahention,and keeping yourself safe to help the goverment remove these paracites from the general public.Im sure the NY state police could have used some help with Ralph Philips,He shoot three officers,one died,and they expended an enormus amount of time, and tax payer moneys to apprehend this individule who was able to alude them for months.Good luck in your quest to resolve this matter of yours,And as far as the Mexican goverment is conserned,they should be happy the threat to there people was removed.

Dog has been arrested because bounty hunting is illegal in Mexico. Dog posted bail and failed to appear in court in July of 2003. Ironic, no?

My freind, you’ve just been hosed by the goverment/judiciary. Sad to say, they are not able to recognize criminal apprehension when it is involved in international incidents. Alway’s safer to hide behind protocal. That might imply their all about law enforcement. Can’t have that! International relations particularly as they apply to iffy national authorities unfortunately involves a great deal of compromise. When the Convicted are very well heeled {or exceedingly well financed} they have the ability to grease the palms of those in authority. Hence, your current situation. I expect you are sufficently solvent to defend yourself. I also hunt bad guy’s. I’m proactive. Dont have the luxury of knowing who they are in advance. Don’t have the advantage of backup either. Still, I have’nt lost a case in 25 years. Have’nt lost a suspect either. I’m not bragging. Just letting you know I’ve been there and done that. I hope and beleive{or want to beleive} that the U.S. attorney’s office is not foolish enough to insist you comply with an order that after three years is clearly an exercise In vengeance. I am wondering, I saw Mexico does not allow Bounty Hunters to capture fugitives (RAPIST). I also see where DOG was arrested, will lose his 1 Million Dollar bounty, plus may end up having to pay 68K to cops, as well as thousands to the state Attorney’s office. Why not release the criminal DOG caught in Mexico since this was an apparent “illegal” capture as per the judge in the US, as well as the Mexican government. We can then allow the Mexicans to find the rapist on their own and bring him to justice.
I wonder how this judge would feel if it were his daughter or wife that was RAPED by that animal, I wonder if then, he would support the arrest of the only man with BALLS to catch a rapist!

I just wanted to say Beth you are a remarkable women.I wish i had the strength that you do. Dog i admire what you did. I wish we had peolpe here like that in my home town that could have hepled me like you helped all of Lusters victims. I was a victim of a violent and brutal assault. I was only 23 years and i thought i had found the man of my dreams. He would be so nice. I never though that he would ever violate me and hurt me the way he did. He though i was cheating on him and i wasn’t. So one day he fliped out and he violated me, then he chaised me around my house with a knife. I ran into the bathroom and locked the door but i forgot that there where two enteries into my bathroom and i didn’t lock the one that led into the kitchen. He came and startaed to beat me and threatened to knife me to death if i didn’r calm down and do exactly what he said. So i did everything. I thought i was dead and i didnt want to die like that. I tried to leave but he would chase me down and beat me he did cut me on my hand and got my pink finger. About three hours had gone by and i didnt say anything or do anything i just sat there. When i saw that he wasn’t moving i figured he was asleep and so i ran for it my heart was racing and i was shaking i made it to the front door and i heard him right behind me. he slamed me into the door and i fell back he went to hit me and with all my might i kick him where it could hurt the most and i ran like superman out my front door. I went to the nearesr neighbor and called my best friens who then took me to the hopsital. Any way the moral of the story is without people like you and your crew there could have been more victims like me and Luster’s victims out there. I watch your show all the time and wonder if there was someone here could this have saved me from going through that hell. I work as a armed security office in rough places and not so rough places. what’s it like being a bounty hunter I’ve wanted to try but there isn’t a whole lot out here. I hope that everything goes well and Dog,Leland and Tim you and your families are in my prayers.

How do you go about getting some one for child support when the system is failing in all aspects? The court system wont collect nor will they push the dead beat mom either. Can you help me on this so my husband can be left alone and the dead beat ex-wife pay up….. Its been 13 years since she paid and now its time!!!! I hope you can help.

I guess i’ll get right to the point, you don’t seem like the kind of guy that is anything but straight forward. So i am writing about the KEY factor of life which is pointing people to Jesus. But the problem is not external it’s internal. A person can not change .. they can only Adapt. I’ll explain. if a person gets bit by a poisonous snake and the venom enters the blood stream just amputating the infected area will solve nothing ….the same poison will surface up but in a different location ….so we are doomed until a anti venom is the same body as the poison.
Same thing ….all people are born with poison and if the area amputated is drugs/crime it will resurface in a different area in there lives like porn or idols,racism which can do the same amount of damage to lives as a person on drugs or crime. So people need to here about JESUS IN DWELLING THEM, AFTER A PERSON MAKES HIM LORD(meaning whatever he says do it no matter if we agree or not) AND SAVIOR OF THERE LIFE! HE is the anti venom!! It is a “DISGRACE” to all of faithful fans of Dog and the Chapman family to have “Dog the Bounty Hunter” taken off the air! Especially after all of the good deeds he has accomplished. Back in his younger years in a biker gang, he stood up to the gang leader and protested he not turn a cross upside down because that was the sign of the devil himself and you just don’t do that. The gang gave him a hard time for preaching the Bible and called him the Dog because it is God spelled backwards. And he liked it and it stuck.
